Texas hold'em is now in #1 while SMB dropped to #2. Lets see if it is only temporary or if people are finally not interested in monkeys. I actually love the game tho.

I thought it was overrated to be honest, but thats my opinion, im sure most people will object to it:rolleyes:

It's a pretty decent game - although I tend to get too involved in it and I get easily frustrated with it - lol

I've grown used to the frustration so it doesn't bother me anymore. I still enjoy the game. It was worth $10 to me even with the sucky controls. I still think Dizzy Bee is the best game paid or free that I have played on the iphone.

I'm with you and it is no surprise that a game like Texas Hold'em would knock SMB out of the #1 spot as it reaches a broader audience than SMB ever would. Not that SMB isn't great, but it is a whole other game.

finaly, there is too much hype around this app, it needs an update before it is good

Sega said there is an update coming that will allow you to calibrate the control settings.

Should definitely be worthwhile after that.

i can see why Texas Hold'em is #1... apple did a fantastic job with it and well worth the 5 bucks... havent played Super Monkey Ball yet because it was too expensive to justify a purchase when i really dont know how much i would like it... i have played the Wii Version and thought it was fun and all but nothing too special

I wish people would actually PLAY the multiplayer. The only time I am ever able to play anyone is when I call my girlfriend and tell her to meet me in Dubai or Vegas or wherever.

no its only local wifi(same network)

i realise that but the way he worded it made it sound as if he was able to play his girlfriend over the internet by calling her and telling her to join him in a certain room.

so you call her in the other room and tell her to play you?

...or your on a college campus and happen to therefore use the same network lol

SMB is crazy hard to get the hang of.. I'm starting to get it better but I can't wait for the update that will allow you to adjust the sensitivity.

Yes, if it was less sensitive, I could teach myself exactly how to play. I would put it on the lowest sensitivity settings and go from there...

I think once sega gets the update to calibrate the controls, it should be a really fun game. I keep playing the game like a cat running full speed ahead into a brick wall. Once I get over my hurdle, it should be good times.

Oh! Haha, I thought it was multi player everywhere. I guess it's just a coincidence that we both are on the same VPN. :D

Well it should be multiplayer everywhere, I want to play real people, not the computer. :(

I was excited about the game and bought it on day one. Once I realized the sensitivity couldn't be adjusted, I haven't played it since. Hopefully they will change that in an update and I will play it again.

As for Texas hold'em, I'm not into card games.

I couldn't get the nag of SMB until I figured out that you have to hold it as though the ball was sitting on top of the screen.

Instead of steering it like Cro-Mag Rally you've got to hold it almost flat (tilted ever so slightly towards you) and then tilt it around.

It's still damned hard though.

You can't which is why it's epic fail for now...XD.

Nothing surprising here.

I don't see any flaw with Texas Hold'em. I'm sure all the Texas Hold'em developers saw Apple's and just went 0_0 and  and some more of 0_0. And maybe one more of .

Exactly - I stopped playing when I realised you couldn't save your progress. Crash Bandicoot racing lets you save - surely Sega have an update coming that allows you to do the same.

I'm not surprised either especially with how well Apple made the Texas Hold 'Em app. Even if you're not that into cards of Poker it's a really great game that has really great graphics, easy gameplay, the cool Wifi mode (which I have yet to use though), and the interesting details, it's a really great game for just $5. I wish Apple would release more apps since both of their apps are really great.

crash just surpassed monkey ball now - I might get crash actually...

I know they are way wayyyy different, but just by levels of enjoyment (and I know there are lots of Dizzy Bee fans), what do u like better ... Crash or Dizzy Bee (I finished with a silver star overall).
