iPod Photos won't display from link in Notes on Nano 2G

I created a Notescast in Notes, complete with links to photos. I then installed it onto both a Nano 2G and iPod Classic/Video. The Notescast works fine on the iPod Classic/Video (that being when I click on the highlighted link to a photo in the Notes copy, the iPod loads and displays the proper photos) but when I click on the highlighted link on the Nano, it loads and displays a blank screen with three ascii characters in the upper left hand corner.

Any thoughts?
