iPod touch Ipod Touch - Internal Speaker ?

Does the Ipod touch have an internal speaker ? i.e. can you watch movies/listen to music without the headphones, or would you have to use a speaker dock ?

Only the iPhone has a built-in speaker. The iPod Touch is still just an iPod, so no speaker.

then how does the alarm work if theres no little speaker somewhere!?

nope my ipod touch could "play" the alarm without any headphones

So can my 5.5gen 30gb iPod...my guess is that they have tiny/cheap speaker that is for the alarm.

it is a tiny pezio electric thing that can play like 3 tones, it is NOT a speaker

Exactly. All iPods have those, but no speaker.
