EyeTV/Migila/Pinacle

Hi

I have a EyeTV hybrid which is great, but it no longer works so I have to replace it. I've looked and the receivers by otehr brands are a lot less. As I already have the EyeTV software, will the migila or pinacle work with this or is it tied to elgato hardware?
