View Full Version : Removing Cydia on 1.1.4?

I installed Cydia and am not using it at all. I've read how to remove it through SSH but it just doesn't make sense. Could someone explain in the simplest way how to remove the app? Thanks

I'm not sure but couldn't you go to installer.app, hit uninstall and then tap Cydia?

No, it just says reinstall. From what I'm reading it is a hastle. I just hid the icon.

Yeah its not a big deal, I actually found it pretty useful and better than Installer. What about upgrading to 1.1.5 or 2.0? Then you could just restore it and jailbreak it if you wanted to.
