Many of my applications quit with a message like this.

I'm not sure what this means but many of the applications I open quit unexpectedly with this message. How do I fix this problem?

The application quit unexpectedly. The problem may have been caused by the JavaApplicationStup plug-in.

Mac OS X and other applications are not affected.

Click Relaunch to launch the application again. Click Report to see more details or send a report to Apple.
