Will AT&T lower the price like Apple did (for 1st gen - pre subsidy)

I'm eligible for upgrade but wife isn't. Just wondering if AT&T might reduce the price of ineligible customers who now pay 399-499 (just like Apple did for of 1 gen'rs.

I won't be waiting to see if AT&T does but thought they may to increase business once the hype wears down.

What do you think?

i hope they dont lower the price any time soon, because im broke after buying the iphone.

I suggest that you just go out and buy the iphone. You will not regret it one bit.

Two laws of consumer electronics:
1. It will be cheaper if you wait long enough.
2. A better model is on the way.

A price drop wont happen for quite awhile
