I just wanted to know why it is that a story on the macrumors front page can't go without getting at least 1 negative? Even if it is wonderful news, that can't have any possible negatives for anybody, it'll get 30 negatives after a day. I understand that some people just troll around and probably mark everything a negative, but seriously, why?

I just think it's kind of weird....

it happens no matter what. nothing can be done about it short of getting rid of the 'voting' system for the stories.

Set up a tracking system to ferret out these negative souls before the rest of us are infected. I'll bet 90% of the negatives come from the same core group of malcontents. You could have the Mac's save babies story and still pull multiple negatives.
