OK, So I have hade my new mac pro for a few weeks now, and I love it.

I have alredy upgraded my RAM and added a second HD. The Western Digital 640AAKS Thanks to all of you MacRumors's members.

I'm using the new WD640 for my main boot drive.

I have partitioned the original Seagate 320GB. One patron is for a second install of OS X. And soon, Windblows. The second partition I have set aside for storage.

Right now, I have All the mac pro user's, iPhoto and iTunes folders stored on the second hard drive. My son and I, are also accessing our gaming collection from the second drive.

Am I taking proper advantage of this second drive?
Performance wise.

Should I move or store each individuals home folder to the second drive,
instead of just iPhoto and itunes as individual folders.

sounds fine, i guess it's pretty standard to have apps on the boot drive and files 'n junk on another.

i don't know of any particular reason to put user folders on the second drive.

You might want to consider using the second drive for Time Machine storage and keep your personal files on the main drive - or just get a third drive. Storage is cheap, cheaper than the stuff you will lose if you do not have a backup.
