Was this supposed to happen?
I bought an 8gb 3g iPhone on launch day but realized I wanted a 16gb one. So I walked into an AT&T store and told a guy there that I'd like to exchange for a 16gb and realized I'd have to wait for one.
He went ahead and put in a DF order for a 16gb white one (I'm going white, thinks it looks sexier) for $299.00.
Interestingly enough, he said I could return my 8gb within the 30 days, so I guess August 11th.
But...I just realized, what's stopping me from NOT returning my 8gb if my receipt is saying $299.00? Would I be able to sell the 8gb 3g on ebay?
