Just finished Mass Effect and I enjoyed it! :) A while back I played Knights of the Old Republic and I prefer how combat works in Mass Effect. In KOTOR I did not care for "queing" up my actions. Combat in ME was more fluid and the environment was more varied and open. First time through I played as an Adept (equivalent to a caster). Started my second character, a Vanguard which is a biotech warrior. My impression is that being a pure soldier would be kind of boring as compared to someone who can cast. Anyone care to comment?

One critique of the game seems to be that through dialog you can be a "good caring" person or a "prick", but it makes no difference in the story line and climax. However there are some decisions you make that do effect other character's lives.
