Hi,

This thread is about my experience with the PwnageTool 2.0.1 and my 1st Gen iPhone : I jailbreaked it 3 times now. All 3 times where very successful. The only problem I encountered was using the Installer alternative called, I think, "Cydia". It is a very slow app and installing and uninstalling packages seems to make the iPhone crash.

As such, I do not need it, so now I have a iPhone 8GB unlocked and activated with the latest firmware 2.0 - I can confirm that the App Store works fine and that the latest version of iTunes 7.7 recognize my iPhone just fine.

What is your experience ?

Works great here. I didn't use 2.0.1 but stick with 2.0 and I was very happy with it. Used the Mac version.

I have battery problem with Cydia installed. My battery goes down to red within 12 hours. So I re-pwned my iphone via 2.0 with no Cydia and my iphone can last over 2 days without charging.

Apple Apps, ITunes, Youtube works fine.

US - TMobile - 1Gen.
