I'm using a g5 1.6 on osx 10.3.2 and I'm having a strange problem with sound.
when I try to listen to music with the output set to my soundsticks, sound comes out for a split second and then vanishes, not to return again until I restart.
any ideas???

Which USB port have you got them plugged in? If it the keyboard or the monitor, try one of the USB ports on the PowerMac itself, for some reason the soundsticks can be fussy working through a hub.
