Is anyone still having problems with the hinges on the Ti 400s?
After I advised Apple that I had read threads on the internet about the hinges problems, Apple replaced the first ones just a week after the one year warranty. Since it was over a year after the purchase, I did not purchase the extended warranty. The new hinges failed after the 3 month warranty expired! I have talked to everyone at Apple and they all hide behind the 3 month warranty, which is not even close to the time it takes for the hinges to break. The second ones broke almost a year after the replacement of the original ones. Pretty much the same as the first ones. So no 3 month warranty is going to help here!
I am getting sick and tired of Apple! Does anyone have any ideas. I'm looking at small claims, but Apple is based in Cupertino and I'm in LA.
