who cares about the processor, if my eyes do not deceive me then in that powerbook, when you insert a CD, isnt it going to be inserted somewhata into the turbofan?

and I supposed we'll be communicating with our powerbooks via telepathy (since no keyboard seems to be present)???
edit: I didn't know FW 1600 and USB 3 rumors were floating around...
oh and don't forget the rumors about using fuel cells, liquid cooling, and OLED 3-d displays

I thought that too, but notice that the bottom of the picture says "external keyboard and mouse required". At the very least, though, I wouldn't have colored the underside beneath the fan white. At least then it would give the illusion that there was something underneath it instead of just being a wind tunnel. Seriously, where is the processor?

hahaha!!
if anything, the processor is probably in the middle of the fan (or inside the fan?) so the heat it gives off will be drawn away but all the ambient airflow around it.

can't remember where i saw it though.

Of course I wonder what they'd name the fan speed settings on that thing -- mince, chop, frappé.

and my totally lame turbofan quip didn't give it away? i just wanted it to be real as it would be fun to see what would happen to a fan inserted like that. :D

This fan has one massive cooling zone borrowed from the technologies employed in modern jets. This system is so effective that you can hear a jet go past and the kids will love it cause mum and dad can now be not only drowned out by fan noise, but also blown away when the fan is set to its fastest setting - "MiG-25"
