View Full Version : How to play iMovie files on iPhone?

I was just curious as to how to make iMovie files playable on the iPhone? or is it possible? when i tried to sync them they said the iPhone does not support their format.

actually... i still need some help. haha

i cant seem to find the share drop down menu that you've shown..

where is it?

yes, i clicked that. and i do not have a choice for iTunes.

That's your problem..

You'll need iMovie 08'..

That share option can't be done in previous version of iMovie, I don't know if there's another way to export it in older versions..

sorry, i thought it was imovie 7

ok, this may not work depending on what you have installed (you may need quicktime pro).
press file > export > quicktime. choose expert from the dropdown, then press share
in the next window, choose:

or
press file > export > ipod, and use that

(from below)on the SHARE menu, try using the "Quicktime" option instead, then import the file to iTunes as normal.

Hope this helps.
you could try exporting to quicktime in full quality, import to itunes, then press advanced > convert for use on iphone, or similar
