Absolutely!
It can be quick sometimes!

What's funny is when you don't realize it right away and you think "where am I?"

Wow you totally read my mind today!
I get the same thing all the time!

Here I am in the Forum Spy wanting to post something on a thread to the iPhone. I attempt to click the link, and then bam! It updates and then I'm in a thread about the iMac.

:D

Of course, you do realise that by posting about this gripe all you're actually doing is making even more new posts appear on the Spy, thus speeding it up even more? ;)

All it is, is a listing of currently active threads. Different name than other sites I go to has.

This is the EXACT reason I don't use the Forum Spy. It has happened to me so many times it's not even worth trying anymore.

I bet it's even worse in the past few months, you couldn't pay to use it now, probably.:(

There seems to be a minimum delay between new entries appearing at the top of the list, so I generally wait until just after a new entry has appeared before clicking on the link I want. Seems to work pretty well for me.

It's given me quite a workout in the clicker finger, that's for sure. But I love the spy, it's the cat's pajamas! :D

It's happened to me once or twice, but it's quite rare! I just suppose I'm lightening quick reflex man ;)

I only find this a problem on the iPod touch/iPhone. When I'm on my Mac, I never click on the wrong link in FS.

Block out the spammy forums (*cough* iPhone *cough*). Slows it right down.

I have 50 blocked.

Works fine for me. ;)

I thought I went a bit overboard with my 15 forums excluded.

It might be nice if it scrolled at a constant speed rather than jumping when new threads appear.

I use the filters on Forum Spy, but there's one feature I'd love to see: the ability to filter out a specific thread, not a whole forum. This would come in handy, for example, if I want to see iTunes-related threads in Forum Spy, but I don't want it cluttered with very active threads about iPods. Or I want to see MacBook Pro posts, but block another redundant, repetitive thread on the NVIDIA issue.

I realize blocking by thread probably isn't possible with the current forum software, but it would be nice!
