now that the 3G iPhone has come out with 2.0 firmware?

They are waiting for someone to unlock the new 3G. I am waiting for it too so that way I can use my phone in Europe with my European Sim card.

Your response options are missing what I did for my son who is with T-Mobile.

Unlocked original iPhone with the newest 2.0 software. He has appstore and everything else great about the new software.

Everyone I know has the 3G as I am the only one with the original iPhone

I am going to upgrade as soon as more stores around me get shipments in
