Remote App not working

My iPod shows up in iTunes as a remote, so I then put the code that my iPod has given me into iTunes, then the progress bar shows the diagonal lines scroll, but after approx 15 sec it makes a Windows 'dun' sound and the code I put in disappears while the iPod stays the same. They are both on the same network, with both AVG and Windows Security Firewall turned off. I have XP Pro.

Any solutions?

The same thing is happening to me, too.

Try resetting both the iPod Touch/iPhone and iTunes.
That Worked for me.
