I'm looking at a MacBook Air purchased in April 2008. It's basically new, comes with everything and there's not a darn thing wrong with it. Is it worth $1300? Do you think i could get my money out of it if I didn't like it?

Well, considering the base price from Apple is $1,799 ($1,699 with an education discount), it sounds a bit fishy. You didn't find it on Craigslist, did you?

It depends, where did you find it? Was it online on eBay or Craigslist, or was it from a friend or an ad posted somewhere else? In means of the price, that is a great price, I would not try to get it any lower, unless if the condition of the computer is worse than how the seller described it. Depending on where you found it, I would be a little suspicious about it.

Don't let these comments completely turn you away, though. Legit excellent deals are found on Craigslist (if this is indeed where the item is), I got a CD Macbook Pro for $600 on CL, as well as an iPhone (back when they were most expensive) for $180...

As the above user mentioned their are some good deal's to be had, but i'd try checking it's serial # first if possible
