Hey, I am looking for a cord for my old camcorder (if there is one) that I can connect to my macbook pro, my parents have a few old tapes that they want on DVD and I was wondering what cable I should buy. Id say the camcorder is around 15 years old though. Thanks for your help!

If it's not miniDV, then you're going to need to convert to digital first, either piping it through a miniDV camera/player or dubbing it to miniDV.
