So i thought I was past the kernal panic. Got the computer to start up and i got the dock at the bottom of the screen and ran the software update, but I can't get to my hard drive. My finder is open so I can't see my HD icon or the icon of any CD I put in. Any suggestions?

You may want to try posting this in the software forum, you will get more responses, ALT+CMD+ESC will bring up force quit, use it to relaunch finder. If that fails, restart
