Lost my EDGE can only receive email on WiFi

Advise if you can...after system upgrade i can only receive email from a wifi connection , can no longer get EDGE connection...can not send email from wifi... no safari from EDGE either.

suggestions?
do i need to make changes to a setting?
help....

Restore your iPhone could help you, maybe go to the nearest Apple store to get you a new one.

Turn off wifi and restart your phone. If that doesn't work, restore it. Next, the Apple or carrier store.

RESTORE same as RESET?

thanks for the advice...Have turned off Wifi, turned it off/on and now Edge is back..!!!

but i still cannot send email? if i RESET to original settings will i have to re-enter my email settings?
is that what you mean by RESTORE?
