Help with my Powerbook

I put my Powerbook to sleep last night and today all of my settings were changed and my Itunes library is gone, any ideas on why this is happening.

I have a G5, and everytime I put it to sleep or restart, it freezes and won't work. I think this is a panther issue, because ever since I upgraded, it has been this way. But I'd go to the apple store, see what they say, or back up all your files, and do a clean install of panther again.
