windows icon mac

well ive installed vista on my mac all nice and peachy but i cant seem to change the hardrive icon or change the edit the text for some reason thru "get info" like i would and with the other icons. any tricks or the trade without buying some 29.99 prog. btw im currently using leopard

You can't read/write to NTFS from within OS X without third-party software. MacFUSE is what I use.

You can't rename the HDD icon from within OS X. Do it in Windows.
