iPod Scratches

In a drunken state, I have managed to scratch the back of my iPod. Has anyone got any tips as to getting rid of these?

Have you tried rubbing compound? It worked okay on my car.

well, with really really high density sandpaper you can polish a small layer of your ipod, so you don't see the scratched! :D DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!

Toothbrush and toothpaste can do wonders. Works good on plastic, haven't tried it on metal though.
