My problem could also be a software problem causing my disk drive to act screwy.
Anyway, the problem is this: When inserting CD's into my disk drive to rip them with iTunes the disks to not always show (in iTunes or on the desktop). Sometimes, they will show up for a split second, then go away. I eject the disk, and insert it again, and it works almost every time.
Could someone maybe give me an explanation/solution maybe? Or at least point me in the right direction?
Specifics: New, store-bought CD's, Intel Alu iMac, newest version of iTunes
