New feature of 2.0.1?

I just updated to 2.0.1 and while if was performing a backup I was able to use my iPhone in every way. Is this a new feature or is iTunes frozen up?

the backup long issue is now fixed.

the phone also doesnt have keyboard lag anymore.

When I see that, it usually means my sync has crashed.

UPDATE - It appears is was the -251 (something like that) unknown error that occurred. Great start to my 2.0.1 experience... Resync'd and it worked fine...

It initially never actually installed iPhone 2.0.1...
