2.0.1 BRICKED my iPhone.

Tried to update to 2.0.1 last night, and now my iPhone is in "Recovery Mode." When I try to restore it, an "Unknown Error (6)" occurs. iTunes and 10.4 are both up to date. Has this happened to anyone else?

That's not a brick. Brick is being unable to turn it on and having iTunes in OS X and Windows be unable to recognize it.

Whatever. It doorstopped my phone, because that's about what it's worth now.

Can you get it in DFU mode? If not, just wait for it to give up on the whole idea of recovery (wait a few minutes) and then try to turn it on.

It's not a brick.

Do a search for DFU mode on google and follow the instructions.

Thanks for the DFU suggestion! I'll try that when I get home.

So, is anyone else seeing this happen? Any ideas what could have caused it/how to prevent it?

Google "iPhone 6 error."

This is completely fixable and a normal issue.
