Apple has obviously made supporting the fairer platform easier.
I love Macs for personal use and have used them for years, but Apple has a long, long way to go. I work in an environment where I support a mix of PCs and Macs and frankly, the Macs can be a pain in the butt to support. They have no mechanism for staying connected to network shares the way Windows does which makes them unreliable for automated tasks. The Active Directory plug-in in Leopard is still broken in ways that the Tiger version was not (come on Apple... it's been almost a year now. Get this fixed already.) And remotely accessing things as an admin is a flippin' pain--compare, for example, accessing system logs on a Windows workstation vs. a Mac.
Yet, the Mac's growing legion of fans are probably the force for change making this happen.
Possibly, but no amount of cheerleading will get Macs in a business environment without Apple continuing to make Macs better neighbors on a Windows network. That's the sad reality and honestly, Apple's done a half-hearted job so far, especially with Leopard.
