It looks great. The controls remind me of that Ninja Gaiden game for the DS. As long as it's not outrageously priced, I'll get it.

With 3D shooters stuck in my brain, The Force Unleashed having a fixed viewpoint made me less interested.

But now I see that the viewpoint, while fixed, changes from scene to scene, and it doesn't look as stagnant as I imagined at all. Looks like fun.

Kroll (http://www.digital-legends.com/web/html/games_eng_mobile.htm), by Digital Legends, seems like it will be using similar gesture controls.

The graphical power of this device is amazing for it's size. I would've never thought we'd see full 3D apps running so smoothly on our iPhones. With big-name game developers jumping aboard, this is starting to make the iPhone a very credible gaming device.

And it's not out of the question to imagine performance improvements as time goes by:

* Better compilers
* Better dev tools
* More experienced developers
* Further improvements to the OS

So even the very first iPhones may not have yet seen the full graphical potential of the games they could play.
