I would love a realistic golf game for the iPhone, but after watching the 1/2 the youtube video I was less than impressed. The graphics were a bit weak as was the review mentioned swing method. The golf game that came with my Nokia 8801 had its shortcomings as well, and played on a tiny screen, but was graphically superior to this and was a lot of fun. I didn't see this take advantage of the iPhone's swiping like I thought a golf game should, using a back swipe and forward swipe for swing power, and swipe direction for accuracy similar to EA's Tiger Woods on the Mac.

It wasn't until this very moment that I realized how much I craved Golden Tee on the iPhone. Bring back the classic courses, use the swipe method to substitute for the palm-breaking trackball, open up real-time tournaments with $.99 entry fees - it would be perfect.

Sigh.

Amazing apps on the app store. I really like viewti as a rangefinder and scorecard. There are even displays of the greens. Here's their website www.viewti.com

Not impressed. Fair enough it is decent for other mobile phones, but if the iPhone is capable of PSP graphics, then I'd want something along the lines of EA's Tiger Woods in graphics and realism.
