i found a download link of

iPhone1,2_2.0.1_5B108_Custom_Restore
(iPhone 3G only) and i'm not sure if i should try it or not

its 247 mb and the person said

this was done with a xpwn patch that was released 3 hours after the firmware was out, by the creator of xpwn

It is real but xpwn is not to be messed with if you don't know what your doing.

I personally would also rather make my own custom firmware and decide what is on it than download a pre-made version.

Also consider the fact that MAYBE just maybe the update to pwnage MAY contain Installer as well so I would wait.
