Ive had this screen since after i had to restore after updating to 2.0.1. Last night i clicked continue (which isnt in the screen capture) thinking it would just take me to the regular home screen for iphone on the last update but it restored again, and took a long time. I dont want to restore again so am i supposed to click setup new phone? Or just click Restore to dannys iphone? I just want to get back to the regular iphone screen where it shows how much memory is left so i can manage my phone. I have not liked this update so far. What do i do?

well you updated wrong as it should normally just update the system files and leave everything else in place
anyway, restoring will copy over all data, such as photos, notes, app settings etc etc
setting up as a new phone will require everything to be copied back over, and you will loose any camera roll photos, notes and app settings

Aloha joma,
You'll have to pick one of the two options, or you won't be able to manage your iPhone - or even use it for other than 911 calls. I have had issues with apparently corrupted backups, so I chose to set up my iPhone as a new phone. You'll still have to sync all of your iPhone content, however.
Either way, it will take some time. If you choose to restore to a backup (assuming that you are Danny), then you'll get all of the content in said backup. There is no content on your iPhone at the current time, so restoring to a backup will also sync all of the content of that backup.
It really depends on what you wish to do at this point. If you have the time, and wish to get a "clean" start (or, if you are not Danny), I would suggest setting it up as a new Phone.

Well what i meant was i had already restored from the backup last night, and my iphone works fine. But it took me to this screen again. So do i have no other choice other than to start over?

I am having this exact same problem. I restored this mornign and everything was fine until I got the Set Up Your iPhone screen twice. I can use my phone just fine and all of my contacts, sms, notes, etc. are on the phone. Does anyone know how to make this screen go away? I tried unplugging and plugging in the phone but the screen just pops up again. I even selected a backup and restored again but still this screen shows up.
I'm googling now but if anyone can help, please chime in.
Thank you!
ETA: Searched Google and Macrumors forums and found two solutions 1) Force quit iTunes, unplug iPhone and do a hard reset, open iTunes and reconnect phone. That didn't work for me so I tried option 2) choose Set Up As New iPhone. I kept my phone's name and just hit Continue. Within seconds the normal iPhone summary screen came up and I just had to sync my music and video back to the phone. The applications, sms, notes, and settings were still there.
Hope this helps!
