How many here own a Ps3? if you do, have you ever had a hard time getting someone to connect to you?
I have a solution that should work. I could never for the life of me get anyone to connect to me, and has trouble connecting to others. I placed a static IP on the PS3, and placed it in a DMZ zone which [b]should[b] have placed it outside the router. It did not do what it was suppose to, it still showed up as NAT 2 firewall.
I hooked the Ps3 directly to the modem, and it came back as NAT 1, suddenly I can get people to connect. The problem was the router.
I went and forwarded the following ports:
10070 | 10080 | TCP |
10070 | 10070 | UDP |
6000 | 6999 | UDP |
Now everything works smoothly.
