iPod Please help me with my wonky 4G

Hi,

I just got a refurbed 4G from BestBuy after a protracted warranty battle...long story short, it's working alright, but never has been able to charge using the wall charger. i thought it was the charger, so I bought a iPower travel charger and that didn't work either. The iPod screen doesn't even register that it is plugged in to a power source. Does anyone have any experience for or advice about this? I'm going on vacation and really don't want to bring my laptop (it charges, albeit VERY slowly via USB) to charge it. And yes I know I should get a new iPod.

I think that's what I'm using when I plug my iPod into my laptop. The adaptor and cord, when plugged into my iPod and then into the wall, doesn't work. I'm sorry if that seems dim.
