Would this be correct?
I bought my iPhone 3G on the 30th of July and my cycle is on the 8/08.
That's 10 days of prorated which turns out to be $24
My monthly bill is $70
my activation fee is $36
------------------------------------------------------------
First bill should be $130 ?_?

I dont know why they do this. I started on july 11th and they reset my cycle on july 16th. I am charged for 6 days plus the next months bill. Total of about 140, I got the activation fee removed so now its 97.

With AT&T you pay for the next month in advance + extra charged incurred from previous month. It's just the way they want it. :p

got mine on the 12th. Prorated text messaging was almost 20. I called and complained it was too much. They removed those charges for me. I got my bill from 137 to 107 including activation fees. If you complained about that they would probably remove it also.
