American mac not connecting to euro wifi

My macbook is not connecting to a european router for some reason, the wep is right but it justs keeps timing out? thoughts?

Should not be a problem - although sometimes you need a "$" in front of the WEP password.

Yeah, that shouldn't be a problem. Have you only tried the one router?

Check the channel of your router

as to my knowledge in Europe we have 13 channels and in us only 11 channels are available.

So if you use channel 12 or 13 on your router, then your client might not be able to connect.
