Is the PSP worth a buy now?

I'm not by any chance comparing it to the DS..
I'm just wondering.. will the PSP get any hardware upgrades on the coming months? :confused:
I'm considering it just because of the fact of being able to play patapon (looks awesome) and crisis core on it..
What rumors sites can I check for that purpose :p

There have been rumours of a PSP-3000 model (Slim is 2000 and original is 1000) but theres nothing solid yet. I can't imagine a new model until 2009 anyways, from a players perspective the PSP Slim is fantastic. I say that because if there was a PSP 3000 it'd probably target the rampant modding scene.
Get one now :)

Personally I'd rank LocoRoco above Patapon. Wasn't much depth to it IMO.

I've noticed a drop in price in secondhand PSPs myself. Thinking of picking one up for emulators.
