i need another ATV power cord so i can use it at different houses,
will this work?

yes it will. i received an American power cable in the box for my ATV in the UK and just plugged it in with a 5 year old one i dug up in a pile of junk. so long as the connector is the same, as that seems to be, and the voltage matches you should be fine.

Since there is no power brick, the ATV takes AC in the back. This means that there is no real voltage issues. In other words, if the cord fits it will be fine. I picked up another cable at Radio Shack and never had a problem.

That's not always the case. Regardless if the device has a "wall transformer", "power brick" or nothing at all, it is imperative to ready the AC input ratings for the device.

Granted the most often "110 only" plugs are the wall transformers, I've seen all three either 110 or 220 only or 100-230 variable.
