I haven't gotten into iphone dev yet, but that's my plans for the future. I know apple is being mean and blocking access to certain things, but what exactly are the limitations to music? What information from the music collection of the user can I find out about/manipulate, such as playing songs, pausing the current song, switching songs, getting lyrics, all of that?
Thanks! Nate

hmm..... <_<
Will the music at least play even while your app is running?
And if so... is there something to call to see how loud the device is being at a particular moment?
To get creative, maybe if you have an app on the computer that works with the app on the iphone, and then the user can create a playlist on itunes and the app will find it, give it to the app on the iphone, and then you can use that music. Or something along those lines anyways...

I'm pretty sure they're playing their own songs, not reading the iPhone's library.
