Please Apple, add a sim card slot to the next gen of laptops.
I am sick of carrying a usb modem dongle.
Sony, Dell and may others have started to include sim cards into their laptops for mobile broadband users.

If anything that's a pro feature. I think there is almost no chance of that making it into non-Pro MacBooks and very little chance of it being added to the Pro...

A few years ago it may have been a pro feature but not nowadays IMHO.

Maybe via express card slot?

Maybe via express card slot?
Which, again, is only on the Pro

Just buy an express card modem. Integrating into the system is the stupidest thing I've ever seen with the computer industry.

or perfect for the air....
Yes, that seems quite reasonable. The Air is basically a Pro product and with it's lack of expansion and "ultramobile" ideals it would be an excellent addition.

I use a dongle every day for work when I'm out and about.
Remembering it and carrying it is a pain.
I would far rather insert a sim card into my laptop and forget about it. I then have the net whenever I want with no fiddling about.

But some people have more than 1 computer. That built-in stuff doesn't work so well. Also if it has a SIM slot, it will probably be below the RAM cover or something which means it will not be easily [or accidentally] removed.
