It seems as though some people's only recreation is macrumors, or that they have enough time to be here all the time AND THEN do other stuff. Does that make macrumors a hobby?

I voted no, because macrumors isn't just a hobby, it's an addiction!

Honest, i've got a life outside of macrumors ;)

macrumors is one of my hobbies...it's fun...

but I also have writing, reading, exercise, art, computers, traveling, eating...

can those last few be considered hobbies?!

I don't think being on the web is considered a hobby
but I think being on macrumors is...and I also ride BMX,play my PS2 and go out with friends they all fun
It shouldn't be a hobby.....it's just fun

I don't think "macrumors.com" is necessarily a hobby... but following Apple, Steve Jobs and rumors surrounding the company is certainly a hobby.

True, but with the right amount of encouragement, we might be able to get him to settle down.

Macrumors is an obsession. Cooking is a hobby for me, riding the Harley, and fishing (when I can pull myself away from the computer).

It's a hobby addiction. My real hobby is model railroading with my 50 year old trains.
