the bottom half of my screen won't respond to touching!

everything works fine on my phone, unless it's in the PHONE MAIL SAFARI IPOD area. anything on the bottom of my screen won't work when i touch it! i can't take pictures, text, or anything...the slide to unlock thing works though? i don't get it, helllllllp!:(

Do a full restore. If it doesnt fix the issue, return it at an apple store.

i did and it didn't work, sigh. i guess mac store it is! thanks though.

Same thing happened with mine, but at the top of the screen. Took it to the Apple store and they replaced it no questions asked. While probably not really common, by the looks of it, they had seen this several times before.
