Mba 1.6 Dock Glitching?? Fix??

Well I have had my MBA 1.6 for over a week now and the dock has been glitchy since day one. I get a lot of the flashing back and forth with black and icons disappearing for a second and then reappearing . I have tried going into the activity monitor and shutting down the dock a few times, but it hasn't fixed the glitch. Restarting also has no affect. Any suggestions on a possible fix?

I am running leopard that is fully up to date.

Interesting enough, i found last night that the dock doesnt glitch when on the right or left of the screen, it is only when it is at the bottom. It must have something to do with the reflective properties of the dock when it is at the bottom. Still looking for a fix though.

I far prefer the 2d dock, and it might solve your issue as it has no reflective properties, give the link below a go and see if it helps.

Well i'm more curious if this is an issue on most of the MBA 1.6's or just mine. If it is just mine then I can try to find a way to solve it, if it is most of the MBA's then i'll just leave it as is.
