AppleTV question

Ok, so I have had :apple:TV for about 3months now. I want to know is there anyway to stream free TV or shows through my computer? Is there a site or anything I could do this from? The only thing I don't like about :apple:TV is that you have to buy everything. So any suggestions? Since I'm going to college I'm looking to cut back on buying things.

You can watch nearly any prime time TV show online for free, but only on your computer. There's currently no way to view them on :apple:tv.

What about the ATV Stick (?) that allows you to use a browser on the Apple TV? Couldn't he use that to view those sites on his TV?

Ya, that'd be pretty cool and I could watch baseball games on that then because I won't have actual TV next year and will miss my baseball.
