Jesus, this is weird, as i typed this my cursor leapt across the screen to another country, ok, not another country but at least a state, its been doing this for a while and I have been patient, but thats it!

Here's the SIT/

New Alubook 1.25 standard.

While i am typing email or whatever,
the cursor jumps to a different area and screws my letter.
This has been constant since I first got the computer, even after installing 10.3.

I called APPLE and they said to check the option to ignore the trackpad during typing, DUH!

I did that ages ago,
I am sure that there are a few people out there that have the same issue.

And someone smarter than me must have a fix!

TIA

This sometimes happens with my 12" PB. The only thing I can say is be careful not to touch the trackpad while typing. After a few days of conciously trying to avoid it, it'll become second nature and you won't have this problem.

there has to be a better way..
I mean why is there an option to chose in the preferences to disable touch pad when typing if it doesnt work?

My older Ti didnt do this, are the Alu touch pads more touchy?

thanks for the help/
