iPhoto?

iLife '04 is great with iMovie 4, iDVD 4, iTunes 4, Garageband, etc...

But can anybody explain what happened to iPhoto 3?

I guess the simplest explanation is that iPhoto 3 didn't look good next to all those 4's, but that's kinda silly....

That's exactly what happened... instead of iPhoto version 3 it's now iPhoto '04 as in 2004. That's all.

Good question. I was wondering that, too. And I'm glad to have an answer. The first thing I did when I learned that there was an iPhoto 4 was to search for iPhoto 3...with very little luck. Anyhow, I'm still not sure I like the idea of paying to update iPhoto now, but, hell, I can't resist (even if 4 doesn't logically follow 2).

My guess is they wanted "iLife 04" to have versions #4 for all its apps, excluding GB of course.
