Can the touch read .jpg and .PNG files? I have TONS of comic books in those formats and i would love to have them on the go.
If not, does anyone have any suggestions on how to convert them, and if so what file type I should convert to?
Thanks!

I believe it can, but it's likely to resize them.
To view images without resizing I use an app called Datacase, which seems to let me view larger images (e.g. 1k x 1k pixels) without resizing, although it still resizes if I try to feed it something really big (e.g. 5k x 5k pixels).

thanks. I will have to try it out when i get my touch. I wouldnt mind resizing because i figured i could just use multi touch to zoom in and out and move it around. but i shall have to try it out.

You'll want to use something like filemagnet if you want to read it easily. Otherwise it'll be awkward, switching between images in an e-mail.

By 'resized' it's meant that the iPod optimises the image to fit the screen; the resolution is changed, so zooming in will just make it blurry.
