Cell Phone Help!

Hi guys I finally am going to buy a cell phone!

I have decided that I am going to go with T-Mobile and their basic $30 a month plan. I have two choices for free phones: The RIZR Z3 or The Samsung Beat. Which one do you recommend?

I vote for the Beat. My only reason: less to go wrong. I had a slide phone and it had problems. I have never had a problem with a flip phone.

The Rizr has better reviews, and overall ratings. Really it all comes down to personal preference. Have you had hands-on time with the phones?

A vote for the RIZR here. Mainly because my mum has it and it is a very good phone.

I'd buy the rizr z3 since it is a slider (the rage right now) and the beat looks bulky and ugly. the rizr has a nice, clean design and shape. but it all comes down to personal preference.

Get the RIZR. Although an iPhone would be a nice treat 😛!

I really am worried about the battery life of the RIZR though, is 3 hours enough?

My Palm Centro gets around 3.5 hours of talk time, and I can go up to three days (with pretty heavy usage) without charging it. You should be fine.

I'd go for the Samsung, simply because I've always had positive experiences with their cellphones, while the only Motorola phone I ever owned was a disaster.
